Job: Hematology / Oncology #HO2871A | | NEW YORK CITY (less than 1/2 hour to Manhattan): A Board Certified Oncologist/Hematologist needed to join prominent single-specialty group of six. This opportunity is ideally suited to the professional aiming for a career in group leadership and clinical practice.

AVAILABILITY: IMMEDIATE availability is ideally preferred. However, this practice will also consider July, 2010 and July, 2011 fellows.
Hematologists/Oncologists.
Their friendly, professional patient care staff included five oncology nurses, six physician assistants, two pharmacists, a clinical research team and a well-trained business support staff. This patient-centered practice enjoys excellent management.
This practice’s ideal candidate is a specialist who is two to five years post fellowship with private practice experience. However, physicians who are just completing their fellowships as well as those finishing in June of 2011 will also be considered.
Call Schedule: Weekday: 1:6; Weekends: 1:5
This very successful and busy practice sees a high volume of ambulatory and inpatients each day.
They work in a new, state-of-the-art, 12,000 square foot facility which houses a 26-chair infusion center, laboratory, and fully equipped pharmacy. The infusion center cares for an average of 350 patients per week.
This prominent practice has grown to become the largest private oncology practice in the county.
They have academic affiliations and also participate in clinical trials and research.
