Barbara Stoefen, the President and owner, is an experienced Human Resource professional. She earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University in 1976 and then pursued a successful career in Human Resource Management. Working in Silicon Valley's high tech heydays of the '70's and '80's, Barbara recruited professionals, developed compensation plans, managed employee relations and relocated families. She has been with The O'Kane Group and working in physician recruitment since 1990, purchasing the business in 1992.

Peter Stoefen, Vice President and co-owner, received a B.S. degree from the University of Oregon in 1968. After two years of Army service during the Vietnam era, Pete started a career in high tech Manufacturing and Production Management. He helped grow several Silicon Valley "start-ups" in the 1980's. Pete now partners with Barbara in recruiting physicians, joining the business in 1995.
